Mrs Simkins has been cooking for more than thirty years for friends
and family. During that time she has developed hundreds of recipes and is still doing so. In 2006 she began finalising a comprehensive recipe selection and ‘Cooking with Mrs Simkins’ is the result. Mrs Simkins writes a weekly column for the much loved Blackmore Vale Magazine in the West Country.
Her recipes cover the whole range of wholesome home cooking with plenty of baking. They are the kind of recipes that novice and experienced cooks will all enjoy: simple and delicious with helpful tips and explanations.
Mrs Simkins lives in Dorset with her family.
Her second book ‘Tea with Mrs Simkins’ is out in September 2010.
